When making purchases, try to think like a cat to make interesting AND finicky purchases. Remember that you have a cat who will likely opt for the random cardboard box that just arrived on the doorstep versus the 100-story cat mansion you just purchased. Be sure to search online items by pictures, customer reviews (or most popular purchases), and to gradually add items as you see a need. For example, if your kitten is regularly scratching a certain area, it might be time to find a scratching post to place near your family room sofa. If your growing kitten is not drinking enough water, you might want to invest in a water fountain to add interest to their drinking time. Another great place to shop are the pet sections of inexpensive stores such as Marshall's and Home Goods.
